one of the most adorable moments in the series

Beast boy and cyborg drop everything to make sure that Starfire is comfortable telling jokes. They don’t care that they missed the context, laugh along to make her comfortable, then proceed to make asses of themselves JUST so she can have a good laugh too and feel like she BELONGS.

And that is one of many examples of why the original teen titans series was seriously well fucking written as it showed a very HUMAN kind of emotion, feeling like you don’t fit in and watching a joke go wrong and people not finding you funny, then getting to laugh because the people you chose to open up to were caring enough to make fucking sure you felt like you belonged just for a bit.

Fun fact: if you approach an employee and insist that they go ‘check the back’ for an item that’s not on the shelf, there is a 90% chance that they’ll go to the back room, scratch their ass and check their text messages for five minutes, and come back out with a sympathetic smile and a ‘Sorry!’ because they know without even looking that the stock isn’t there.

if you want to ask a bisexual or asexual person about their sexual history to verify that they’re queer, but you don’t want them to take it the wrong way, try this useful communication technique:

give them twenty dollars and go away.

As a bi person, I can attest to the beneficiality of this method.

mALEFISHIENT, MARK

ive been meaning to make work-related comics forever, so enjoy some choice movie title bastardizations.

(these all actually, seriously, happened, with no humor or awareness on the part of the customer at the time as far as I could tell. so, yes, someone actually asked for a ticket to “Detergent” with a straight face.)

“But where did Captain Planet’s shield go?” My mom at the end of Winter Soldier (bonus: when I said “really, mom?” she replied, “well it was probably expensive.”)

BBC Sherlock Signature Series Masterpost

Here they all are then! Every signature I’ve made for Sherlock, all in one convenient post. I think I’ve pretty much covered everyone now, at least everyone I can conceive of making signatures for. Thanks so much everyone for the love on these.

Couple new ones on here as well - I fixed John’s doctory scribble so that it leans to the left (yay left-handedness!) and added Sarah Sawyer to the mix. Also, both Andersons are on here - real!Anderson and joke!Anderson.

I’ll be getting them all up onto RedBubble here soon, including a design that has everyone’s signatures on it. I’ll also make a wallpaper (as requested) and maybe some other things (we’ll see!)

Onto the next project :3

LET ME POINT OUT OF THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS SCENE:
Here, Captain America - a hero in this film - is standing still while three other kinds of heroes, rush around to do thier job. (this is in no way bashing Cap, he is simply standing still at this moment, most likely in shock/fatigue). A soldier, a BLACK COP and two firemen. While American’s super soldier is immobilized, our every day heroes are still fighting to ensure safety and peace. The fact that Marvel created this moment in thier film, a film focused on the heroes, speaks yet again to thier message that you don’t have to be a super, to be super.
